Inthispaper,weconductedaregressionanalysisoftheintensitydistributiondataof146earthquakes(M≥5.0)whichoccurredintheperiodfrom1900to2014.Accordingtopreviousresearch,Yunnanispidedinto3tectonicregions.Thenweusethedataoftheisoseismiclinesinthese3regionstofittheintensity-attenuationmodelofeachregion.SincetherewereafewM≥7.0earthquakesinthis114-yearperiod,thefittedintensity-attenuationmodelofthestrongearthquakeswouldberandomoruncertain.Tosolvethisproblem,weintroducetheRuptureScalerelationshiptolimitingourfittedintensity-attenuationmodelofstrongearthquakes.Wechoosetheempiricalrelationshipofmagnitudeandrupture-scale,whichwasproposedbyLiZhonghuaandQinJiazheng,tocorrectthesizeoftheinfluencefieldestimatedthroughourintensity-attenuationmodel.Comparingourintensity-attenuationmodelswiththepreviousones,wefindthatinacertaintectonicregion,theintensityisoseismalsestimatedthroughourmodelhaveaverageminimumerrorwiththerealintensityisoseismaldecidedthroughfieldinvestigation.Therefore,itismoreadvisabletochoosethesmall-scalezonefortheintensity-attenuationevaluation
