Thispaperstudiesconsensusofaclassofheterogeneousmulti-agentsystemscomposedoffirst-orderandsecond-orderagentswithintermittentcommunication.Forleaderlessmulti-agentsystems,weproposeadistributedconsensusalgorithmbasedontheintermittentinformationofneighboringagents.Somesufficientconditionsareobtainedtoguaranteetheconsensusofheterogeneousmulti-agentsystemsintermsofbilinearmatrixinequalities(BMIs).Meanwhile,therelationshipbetweencommunicationdurationandeachcontrolperiodissoughtout.Moreover,thedesignedalgorithmisextendedtoleader-followingmulti-agentsystemswithoutvelocitymeasurements.Finally,theeffectivenessofthemainresultsisillustratedbynumericalsimulations.
