Inanactivenetwork,userscaninsertcustomizedactivecodesintoactivenodestoexecute.Thusitneedsmoreresourcesthanthoserequiredbyconventionalnetworks,andtheseresourcesmustbeeffectivelymonitoredandmanaged.ManagementpoliciesinexistingOSsaretoocomplicatedtoapplytosimpleactivepackets.Inthispaper,wepresentnewresourcesmanagementpoliciesthataremainlyadopedtomanageCPU,storageandtransmissionbandwidth.Namely,weuseSPFalgorithmtoscheduleandprocessactivepackets,andimportanintervalqueuemethodtoallocatetransmissionbandwidth,andusefeedbackmechanismtocontrolcongestion.Atthesametime,wedesignsomeexperimentsonprototypesystemswithandwithoutresourcesmanagementpoliciesrespectively.Theexperimentsresultsshowthatmanagementpoliciespresentedbyuscaneffectivelymanageresourcesinactivenodesandcanimprovetheperformanceofactivenetworks.
