Factorsaffectingfoulingofdepentanizerinethyleneunitswereexploredthroughstudyofthecompositionofpyrolysisgasoline,C5distillateandfoulingdepositsfromthedepentanizerwhiletakingintoconsiderationtheprocessingparameters.Avarietyofantifoulingmeasures,inparticulartheinjec-tionofaspecialanti-foulingagentintotheCsgasphasepipelineandtheC5distillaterefluxpipelinewereintroduced.Commercialevaluationtestofamultifunctionalanti-foulingagent,theRIPP-1404anti-foulingagent,wasalsodescribed.
