TheexitwavefunctionincludingzeroandhighorderLauezoneshasbeensimulatedbybothmulti-slicemethodandelectrondynamicdiffractionanalyticalexpression.Coincidenceofthesimulationsbythesetwomethodswasachieved.ThecalculatedresultsshowedthattheexitwavefunctionhighlydominatedbyzeroorderLauezone,whilehighorderonesmodifytheexitwavefunctiontosomeextentdependingonthesituation.HighorderLauezoneeffectsbecomeimportantforthefollowingcases:sampleconsistsoflightelements,thethicknessisverythin,latticeplanarspacingperpendiculartothedirectionoftheincidentbeamislarge,andtheelectronbeamhaslongwavelength.InthesecasestheexitwavefunctionshouldbecorrectedbyaddinghighorderLauezoneeffects.TheanalyticalexpressioniseffectiveandconvenientfordealingwithhighorderLauezoneeffects.
