Inthispaper,firstly,amathematicalmodelforaspecifickindofweltedbifurcationisestablished,theparametricequationfortheintersectingcurveisresultedin.Secondly,amethodforpartitioningfiniteelementmeshesoftheweltedbifurcationisputforward,itsmainideaisthatdevelopingthemainpipesurfaceandthebranchpipesurfacerespectively,pidingmeshesoneachdevelopingplaneandobtainingmeshespoints,thentransformingtheirplanecoordinatesintospacecoordinates.Finally,anappliedprogramforfiniteelementmeshesauto-generationissimplyintroduced,whichadoptObjectARXtechniqueanditsrunningresultcanbeshowninAutoCAD.ThemeshesgeneratedinAutoCADcanbeexportedconvenientlytomostoffiniteelementanalysissoftwares,andthefiniteelementcomputingresultcansatisfytheengineeringprecisionrequirement.
