Basedonmulti-module-cascadedinvertertopology,thisstudypresentedauniversalmultilevelinverterhybridtopologyandunifiedtheresearchesonmultilevelinvertertopology.Accordingtothefreedomofthisuniversaltopology,severalnewhybridtopologieswereconstructed.Also,basedonconventionalmodulationstrategies-multi-carrierSPWM(SinusoidalPulseWidthModulation),hybridmodulationstrategieswereintroducedcorrespondingtohybridtopologies,andamultilevelSVPWM(SpaceVectorPulseWidthModulation)techniquebasedonphase-shiftedtheorywasnaturallyproduced.Simulationandexperimentresultsprovethathybridtopologiesandcorrespondingmodulationstrategiesarevalid,whichlayafoundationforpracticalapplicationofhybridmultilevelinvertertopologies.
