WithTi(OBu)4asprecursor,andHAcascomplexingagent,pureandW-dopedTiO2gelatinswerepreparedbyasol-gelmethod.Duringtheprocessofgelformation,metalionsweredispersedintheporousTiO2matrix.Then,powdersofnano-TiO2andW-dopednano-TiO2werepreparedbydrying,grindingandheattreatmentatdifferenttemperatures.Thegrainsizeandstructureofthesamples,pureTiO2andW-doped,andtreatedatdifferenttemperatures,werestudiedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD),BeckmanCoulterSorptionAnalysisandTEM.Resultsshowedthat,withincreasingtemperature,theTiO2transformedfromanatasetorutileandthegrainsizeincreased.ThistransformationandgraingrowthofTiO2couldberetardedbydopingwithW.
