Amagneticallystabilizedbed(MSB)reactorforselectivehydrogenationofolefinsinreformatewasdevelopedbycombiningtheadvantagesofMSBandamorphousnickelalloycatalyst.Theeffectsofoperatingconditions,suchastemperature,pressure,liquidspacevelocity,hydrogen-to-oilratio,andmagneticfieldintensityonthereactionwerestudied.AmathematicalmodelofMSBreactorforhydrogenationofolefinsinreformatewasestablished.Areformingflowschemewithapost-hydrogenationMSBreactorwasproposed.Finally,MSBhydrogenationwascomparedwithclaytreatmentandconventionalpost-hydrogenation.
