Theenzymaticresolutionofracemicmethyl3-phenylglycidatewasinvestigated.Itwasfoundthatthehydrolysisrateof(2S,3R)-enantiomerwasfasterthanthatof(2R,3S)-enantiomerbyanewlipase.Atoptimalcondition96%of(2R,3S)-methylphenylglycidatewitheeof100%wasrecoveredfromtheracemicmixture.
