BACKGROUND：In2004,arandomisedphaseⅢtrialbytheEuropeanOrganisationforResearchandTreatmentofCancer（EORTC）andNationalCancerInstituteofCanadaClinicalTrialsGroup（NCIC）reportedimprovedmedianand2-yearsurvivalforpatientswithglioblastomatreatedwithconcomitantandadjuvanttemozolomideandradiotherapy.We＇reportthefinalresultswithamedianfollow-upofmorethan5years.METHODS：Adultpatientswithnewlydiagnosedglioblastomawererandomlyassignedtoreceiveeitherstandardradiotherapyoridenticalradiotherapywithconcomitanttemozolomidefollowedbyuptosixcyclesofadjuvanttemozolomide.
