  • 简介:Thepresenceoftracephosphatesintreatedwastewaterfrommunicipalitiesandindustriesisoftenresponsibleforeutrophicationproblemsinlakes,rivers,andotherwaterbodies.Inthispaper,wereporttheremovalofPO43-fromwaterbyusingapillaredrectoritethatwesynthesizedrecently.Theresultsshowthatcross-linkingcansignificantlyincreasetheadsorbingcapacityofNa-rectoriteforphosphates.ThepH,theconcentrationsofF,NH4+andCODaremainfactors,whichaffecttheresultsforpillaredrectoritetoadsorbphosphatesfromwater.TheOH-,andF-ionsdecreasethecapacitytoadsorbphosphates,whiletheCODandNH4+ionsincreaseit.

  • 简介:Awater-compatiblephenolichydroxylmodifiedpolystyreneadsorbent(AM-1)foradsorbingandremovingphenoliccompoundsfromaqueoussolutionswaspreparedbycovalentbondingofphenolichydroxylgroupstothesurfaceofporouspolystyrene-divinylbenzenebeads,thisresincanbeuseddirectlywithoutwettingprocess.AcomparisonofthesorptionproperitesofthenewresinandAmberliteXAD-4towardfourphenoliccompounds,phenol,p-cresol,p-chlorophenol,andp-nitrophenolwasmade.ThecapacitiesofequilibriumadsorptionofAM-1forallfourphenoliccompoundsincreasedaround20%overthatofAmberliteXAD-4,whichmaybecontributedtopheonlhydroxylgrouponthesurfaceandtheunusualpoedistribution.Attheirdilutesolution,theequilibriumadsorptioncapacitiesofAM-1forphenolincreasedaout62%overthatofAmberliteXAD-4,whileequilibriumadsorptioncapacitiesoftheotherthreephenoliccompoundsincreased4-35%,suggestinganadvantageofAM-1overAmberliteXAD-4inthecollectionofphenol.FreundlichisothermequationsandisostericadsorptionenthalpiesforthefourphenoliccompundsindicateaphysicaladsorptionprocessontheAmberliteXAD-4andAM-1resins,ColumnstudiesforphenolshowthatAM-1resinhasexcellentadsorptionanddesorptionperformance.

  • 简介:ExtractionandseparationofRadishredpigmentfromawastewaterofsaltingRadishwasstudiedonD61resin.Theexchangecapacityofadsorptionthepigmentwasequalto60.91mg·g^-1wetresin,andtheequilibiumtimeonly40mins.AllRadishredpigmentadsorbedonD61resinwaselutedusingaeluentinwhichconcentractionofHCloralcoholwas0.1mol·L^-1or80%at50℃whentheflowratewasat2BV·hm^-1.StabilityofD61resinwasverywell,andwhiletheresinwasrecycledfifteentimes,theexchangecapacitywasonlydecreased11.9%,andtheexchangecapacitydidn′tchanged.Becauseofnegativeionofmustardoil,itcould′tbeadsorbedontheresin.Finally,apasteproductwithyieldof1.96mg·100ml^-1wastewaterwasobtainedafteralcoholevaporationandvacuumdrying.

  • 简介:Acrylonitrile(AN)andmaleicanhydride(MA)copolymerhasbeensynthesizedbyradicalpolymerizationusingammoniumpersulfateandsodiumbisulfiteasinitiator.Thepervaporationpropertiesofthecopolymericmembranespreparedhavebeeninvestigatedforthefirsttime.Thedependencesofpervaporationcharacteristicsoncoplymercomposition,feedconcentrationandoperatingtemperaturehavebeenstudied.Inordertoimprovetheseparationpropertiesofthecopolymericmembranes,themembraneswerehydrolyzedwith10wt%soldiumhydroxideorpotassiumhydroxideaqueoussolution.Thehydrolyzedmembranescontainingmorethan0.069MAmolfractionshowedhighertensilestrengthandseparationpropertiesthantheoriginalmembranes.

  • 简介:Thesolubilityofinitiatordeterminesitsdistributionandtherolesplayedinemulsionpolymerizationaswellasthefinalproducts,butthisisstilllackofsystematicinvestigation.Thepresentworkfocusesonthisissuebycomparingthekineticbehaviorsandproductpropertiesofstyreneemulsionpolymerizationinitiatedby2,2-azoisobutyronitrile(AIBN)andpotassiumpersulphate(KPS).ComparedtoKPS-initiatedemulsionpolymerization,theAIBN-initiatedpolymerizationwasfoundtobeinsensitivetothetypeofemulsifier,andhavehighpolymerizationrateaswellasnarrowmolecularweightdistributionandparticlesizedistribution.Thisresultindicatestheeffectivefreeradicalsaregeneratedinmicellesorcolloids,whichcoulddecreasetheproportionofhomogeneousnucleationandmaketheprocessandproductmorecontrollable.Asaconsequence,thereisalinearrelationshipbetweenmolecularweightofproductandAIBNconcentrationinlg-lgcoordinate.Itprovidedareferenceforthepreparationoflatexeswithspecifiedmolecularweightandsupportedthepossibilityofthecoexistenceofmultiplefreeradicalsinonemicelleorcolloidwhenusingoil-solubleinitiator.
