简介:Partorientationisoneoftheimportantfactorsinmanufacturingwiththreedimensionalprinting(3DP)ofrapidprototypingsystem.Theminimumbuildingtime,beingachievedbythepart’sminimumbuildingheightandminimumwidthin3DP’sydirection,issetastheobjectiveofoptimizingthepartorientation.Geneticalgorithmisadoptedtofindtheminimumbuildingheightofpartsandthenergodicsearchingisusedtogettheminimumwidthofpartinydirection.Acorrespondingprogramforoptimizingpartorientationin3DPwasdeveloped.Testsshowtheproposedapproachiseffectiveandfast.

简介:Theproblemofrobustdesignistreatedasamulti-objectiveoptimizationissueinwhichtheperformancemeanandvariationareoptimizedandminimizedrespectively,whilemaintainingthefeasibilityofdesignconstraintsunderuncertainty.Toeffectivelyaddressthisissueinrobustdesign,thispaperpresentsanovelrobustoptimizationapproachwhichintegratesmulti-objectiveoptimizationconceptswithTaguchi'scrossedarraystechniques.Inthisapproach,Pareto-optimalrobustdesignsolutionsetsareobtainedwiththeaidofdesignofexperimentset-ups,whichutilizetheresultsofAnalysisofVariancetoquantifyrelativedominanceandsignificanceofdesignvariables.Abeamdesignproblemisusedtoillustratetheeffectivenessoftheproposedapproach.
简介:Amethodologyisimplementedtofindtheoptimumreducedweightconfigurationdesignofanoperatingstructureofacivilaircraftverticaltailfin.FE(finiteelement)basedtopologyoptimizationisexecutedtofindtheoptimummaterialdistributionofinitialdesignspaceofribbymaximizingthestiffness.Loadspertinenttotheoperatingandgroundconditionsareestimatedandapplied,consideringtheorientationofstructuralassemblymembersandbuilt-insupportsofferedinthemainstructure.Manufacturingconstraintsareincorporatedintotheoptimizationlooptogeneratepragmaticandmanufacturabledesignconfiguration.ThetopologicallyoptimizedconfigurationisthenconvertedtoCADviabledesignthroughdatareductionandsmoothingbyconvertingtoISO-surfaces.Amethodologyisalsodevisedtomodifythetopologicaloptimizedvoidsandmateriallayoutpreciselywithsplinesandfilletstoconstructmanufacturablefeaturesandavoidstressconcentrations.Theresultingnoveldesignproposalisthenanalyzedandvalidatedagainststipulatedloads,constraintsandotherdesignneeds.Resultsvalidatethenewdesignproposalasmorereliable,havingreducedweightandenhancedstructuralperformance.

简介:Disassemblysequenceplanningisanimportantstepofmechanicalmaintenance.Thisarticlepresentsanintegratedstudyaboutthegenerationandoptimizingalgorithmofthedisassemblysequence.Mechanicalproductsaredividedintotwocategoriesofcomponentsandconnectors.Thearticleusescomponent-jointgraphtorepresentassemblyconstraints,includingtheincidenceconstraintsarerepresentedbyincidencematrixandtheinterferenceconstraintsarerepresentedbyinterferenceconstraints.Theinspiringfactorandpheromonematrixarecalculatedaccordingtoassemblyconstraints.Thentheantgeneratesitsowndisassemblysequencesonebyoneandupdatestheinspiringfactorandpheromonematrix.Afteralliterations,thebestdisassemblysequenceplanningofcomponentsandconnectorsaregiven.Finally,anapplicationinstanceofthedisassemblysequenceofthejackispresentedtoillustratethevalidityofthismethod.
