简介:Wedevelopedaone-dimensionalhybridmodeltosimulatetheDC/RFcombineddrivencapacitivelycoupledplasmaforargondischarges.ThenumericalresultsareusedtoanalyzetheinfluenceoftheDCsourceontheplasmadensitydistribution,ionenergydistributions(IEDs)andionangledistributions(IADs)onboththeRFandDCelectrodes.TheincreaseinDCvoltagedrivesmorehigh-energyionstotheelectrodeappliedtotheDCsource,whichmakestheIEDsattheDCelectrodeshifttowardshigherenergy,andthepeaksintheIADsshifttowardssmallangleregions.Atthesametime,italsodecreasestheionenergyattheRFelectrodeandenlargestheincidentanglesoftheions,whichstriketheRFelectrode.
简介:Ananalyticalstudyispresentedonthemodaldispersioncharacteristics,groupvelocity,andeffectivegroup,aswellasthephaseindexofaternaryonedimensionalplasmaphotoniccrystalforanobliquelyincidentelectromagneticwaveconsideringtheeffectofcollisionsinplasmalayers.Thedispersionrelationisderivedbyusingthetransfermatrixmethodandtheboundaryconditionsbasedonelectromagnetictheory.Thedispersioncurvesareplottedforboththenormalphotonicbandgapstructureandtheabsorptionphotonicbandgapstructure.Itisfoundthattheincreaseintheangleofincidenceshiftsthephotonicbandgaptowardhigherfrequencies.Also,thecutofffrequencyisindependentofcollisions.
