  • 简介:AfieldexperimentwasconductedtostudytheeffectsofPb,Cd,Cu,ZnandAscoexistinginredsoilongrowthofrice(OryzasativaL.)mungbean(Vignarabiata(Linn.)Wilczek),alfalfa(MedicagosativaL.),Slashpine(PinuselliottiiEngelm.)andaspen(PopulusL.).Resultsshowedthatrice,mungbeanandalfalfaweresignificantlyinfluencedbycombinedpoollutionoftheheavymetals,thecontentsofPb,CdandAsinricegrainsgreatlyexceededtheNationalStandardsforFoodHygieneofChina.Heavymetalsatahighconcentrationseriouslyretardedgrowthofmungbeanandalfalfa,butnotsoobviouslywithslashpineandaspen.Thecompositeindexissuggestedforevaluatingtherelativityofcombinedpollutionwithheavymetalsinsoil.

  • 简介:TheeffectsofcombinedheavymetalpollutionofredsoilonthegrowthofwetlandriceandthetransferofPb,Cd,CuandZnfromsoilintoplantsweresudiedbygreenhousepotexperiment,Theresultsshowedthattheplantyieldsweremarkedlyaffectedbyheavymetals,withtheexceptionofPb,insoilsundertheexperimentalconditions,withouttakingintoconsiderationalltheinteractionsamongtheelements.Theconcentrationsoftheelemetsinplantsweremainlyaffectedbythespecificelementaddedtothesoil.Theeffectofinteractionsamongtheheavymetalswasverysignificanteitheronplantyieldsorontheconcentrationoftheelementsinplants.Theriskassessmentofacombinedpollutionbyheavymetalsinthesoilisdiscussedpreliminarilyintermsoftherelativepollutionequivalent.

  • 简介:AnexperimentwasconductedtostudytheeffectsofdifferentPbconcentrationsonriceseedgerminationandseedlinggrowthinthreecultivars(Jiayu293,Jiayu948andXieyou963).ThemethodofqualitativetraitscombiningwithquantitativetraitsbyorthogonalpolynomialswasappliedtoanalyzericeseedvigorbyregressionmodelTheseedsfromdifferentricecultivarshaddifferentsensitivitytoPbpoison.InthePbconcentrationof100-700mg/L,Pbsignificantlydecreasedrootlengthandshootheight,andthedegreeoftherestraintwouldaggravatewiththeincreasingofPbconcentration.However,Pbdidnotreducerootdryweightandshootdryweight,whichindicatedthatdifferentphysiologicalcharacteristicshaddifferentsensitivereactionstoPb.Thepredictingequationsofregressionweredeveloped,whichcouldbeusedtopredicttheeffectsofdifferentPbconcentrationsonriceseedvigor.

  • 简介:Thestatusofagriculturalnon-pointsource(NPS)pollutioninChinaisquiteaustereowingtolotsoffactors,thecharacteristicsofwhichincludesevereN,Peutrophicationsinwaterbodies,unsuitablestructureofagricultureandthelackofreasonablemanagement.Itwaswellknownthatforestcouldplayanimportantroletocontrolsoil&watererosion,uptakeextrasoilnutrientsaswell.Howeverforestcoverageisratherlowintheheadwatersregion.TheresearchonthecausesofNSPpollutionandthesignificancebydevelopingagroforestrytodealwiththeproblemispresentedinthepaper,aswellasthefunctionofagroforestryandtherelatedmeasuresofpollutioncontrolling,e.g.,riparianforestbufferzonesbuilding.Asaconclusion,controllingthelossofsoilandwaterisregardedasanimportantcrucialactionandmajorresearchdirectioninthefield.TherebythebenefitsofpushingupagroforestryinslopstocombatwatereutrophicationandpreventNSPpollutionfromworseningaresignificant.

  • 简介:IndividualandcombinedeffectsofCu,Pb,ZnandCdonNmineralization,ureaseandphosphatasewereexaminedinaTypicUdicFerrisolinlaboratorybyemployinganduniformdesignandasinglefactordesign,SoilpollutioncausedbyheavymetalsinhibitedNmineralization(N0value)andureaseandphosphataseactivities.ThecombinedpollutionofmetalsalleviatedtheirtoxicitytoNmineralizationtosomeextentwhereasaggravatedthetoxicitytoureaseandphosphatase.Phosphorousapplicationcouldmitigatthetoxiceffectofheavymetalsonphosphataseactivities,whilealleviatingeffectofNapplicationonthetoxicityofheavymetalstoureasewasinconsistent.However,themitigatingeffectofthefertilizerswaslimitedinheavilypollutedsoils.
