简介:Weproposeaphotonicstructurestackedsequentiallybyone-dimensionalphotoniccrystalsandcavities.Thewholestructureiscomposedofsingle-negativeanddouble-negativematerials.TheopticalWannier–Starkladder(WSL)canbeobtainedinalowfrequencyregionbymodulatingthewidthsofthecavitiesinorder.Wesimulatethedynamicalbehavioroftheelectromagneticwavepassingthroughtheproposedphotonicstructure.Duetothedispersivecharacteristicsofthemetamaterials,averynarrowWSLcanbeobtained.Thelong-periodelectromagneticBlochoscillationisdemonstratedtheoreticallytohaveaperiodonamicrosecondtimescale.
简介:Advancesinmaterialscienceandmathematicsinconjunctionwithtechnologicalneedshavetriggeredtheuseofmaterialandelectriccomponentswithfractionalorderphysicalproperties.Thispaperconsidersthemathematicalmodelofapiezoelectricwindflowenergyharvestersystemforwhichthecapacitanceofthepiezoelectricmaterialhasfractionalordercurrent-voltagecharacteristics.Additionallythemechanicalelementisassumedtohavefractionalorderdamping.Theanalysisisfocusedontheeffectsoforderofderivativesontheappearanceandcharacteristicsoflimitcircleoscillations(LCO).Itisobtainedthat,theorderofderivativestoenhancetheamplitudeofLCOandlowerthethresholdconditionleadingtoLCO.Thedomainsofefficiencyofthesystemareillustratedinvariousparametersspaces.
