  • 简介:JohariceofAssamisaclassofricewitharoma,goodcookingqualitiesandexcellentpalatability,whicharegrownindifferentplacesofAssamwiththeiradaptabilitytolocalsituations.Atotalof143simplesequencerepeatmarkerswereusedinthisstudytorevealsufficientgeneticvariationsamongthe40Johaand14non-Joharicegenotypes.Polymorphisminformationcontentofthesemarkerswerefrom0.17to0.88,wheretheaverageof3.7alleleswereobserved.Themodel-basedpopulationassignmentanddendrogramanalysisidentifiedthreedistinctgroupsinthe54riceaccessions,whichestablishedaclearidentityofJohaaccessionsfromtheBasmatiaccessions,indicatinghighdiversityandstrongpopulationstructureinJoharice.Furthermore,atotalof29significantmarker-traitassociations(P<0.05)for10charactersweredetected.TheQTLsrelatedwithyieldandgrainqualitycanbeusedeffectivelyincropimprovementprogramsandforfurtherfinemappingandvalidationofspecificgenestodevelopgene-basedperfectmarkersinricebreedingandforminingofbetterallelesofthesegenesinJoharicecollections.

  • 简介:Phospholipidsareamajorkindoflipidsinricegrainsandhavefundamentalnutritionalandfunctionalbenefitstotheplant.Theirlysoforms(lysophospholipids,LPLs)oftenforminclusioncomplexeswithamyloseorindependentlyinfluencethephysicochemicalandfunctionalpropertiesofricestarch.However,thegeneticbasisforLPLsynthesisinriceendospermislargelyunknown.Here,weperformedapreliminaryassociationtestof13LPLcompositionsamong20riceaccessions,andidentified22putativemain-effectquantitativetraitlociresponsibleforallLPLsexceptforLPC14:0andLPE14:0.Fivederivedcleavedamplifiedpolymorphicsequencesandoneinsertion/deletionmarkerforthreeLPL-synthesis-relatedcandidategenesweredeveloped.AssociationanalysisrevealedtwomarkerssignificantlyassociatedwithstarchLPLtraits.Theseresultsprovideaninsightintothegeneticbasisofphospholipidbiosynthesisinriceandmaycontributetothericequalitybreedingprogramsusingfunctionalmarkers.

  • 简介:Agronomictraitsareimportantdeterminantstoriceyield,whicharecontrolledbycomplexgeneticfactorsaswellasgenotypebyenvironment(G×E)interactioneffects.TheG×Eeffectsforagronomictraitsofricehavebeendissectedwithvariousapproaches,butnotwiththecurrentavailableapproach,theassociationstudies.Inthisstudy,atotalof32655singlenucleotidepolymorphismswereusedtocarryoutassociationswith14agronomictraitsamong20riceaccessionsintwoenvironments.TheG×Einteractioneffectsforalltheagronomictraitswereathighlysignificantlevels(P<0.01),accountingfor3.4%–22.3%ofthetotalsumofsquaresexceptforthelengthofbrownrice.Twentythreeputativequantitativetraitloci(QTLs),includingfivepreviouslyknownandseveralnewpromisingassociations,wereidentifiedfor10of14traits.AnalysisoftherelationshipsbetweenthetraitsforwhichQTLsandthegenotypeeffectscouldbeidentifiedsuggestedthatthehigherthegenotypiceffect,thehigherthepossibilitytoidentifyQTLsforthegiventrait.ThenewQTLsdetectedinthisstudywillfacilitatedissectionofthecomplexagronomictraitsandmaygiveinsightintotheG×Eeffectswithassociationmapping.

  • 简介:狭窄的基因背景是在引起稳定的high-yielding米饭的一个关键限制因素。国际米饭核心germplasm的介绍和利用是增加国内米饭变化的基因差异的一个重要方法。我们在从国际米饭介绍的315米饭就职的5个圆锥花序特点上进行了染色体宽的协会研究微核心的germplasm银行。从中国的Yangzhou和美国人的阿肯色基于测试,展出的环境一当谷物长度,谷物宽度和谷物长度/宽度比率对环境变化感觉迟钝时,圆锥花序长度上的重要影响和主要分支数。我们发现了7,5,10,8和6个chromosomal区域或显著地分别地与主要分支数字,圆锥花序长度,谷物长度,谷物宽度和谷物长度/宽度比率被联系的单个核苷酸多型性标记loci的一个总数。在他们之中,十一个区域与与主要分支数字联系的谷物形状和一个区域被联系,显示出在二不同环境的好坚固性。重要线性关联在平均特点价值和变化在所有联系loci带的有利等位基因的数字之间被发现。在联系loci之中,在芳香、热带的装饰用的梨树亚群的变化拥有了很有利的等位基因,当那些在适度的装饰用的梨树亚群包含了最少时。国内变化主要在六联系loci正在被检测怀有相反的等位基因。相反,来自11个不同国家的15个变化怀有更有利的等位基因(同样多象30一样或更)比其它。显著地,所有这15个变化属于热带装饰用的梨树亚群。在结论,我们的学习证明在热带装饰用的梨树亚群的变化为引起稳定的high-yielding米饭有高潜力。基于这发现,我们为由使用热带装饰用的梨树变化改进国内米饭的圆锥花序特点建议了一条新途径。

  • 简介:Toprovidegeneticinformationandmaterialsforbreedinghybridjaponicaricewithwideadaptabilityandstrongcompetitiveadvantageofyield,eliteallelesandtheircarriervarietiesofgrowthduration(GD)andproductivepaniclenumberperplant(PN)weredetected.Anaturalpopulationcomposedof94japonicavarietieswasphenotypedfortheGD,PNandplantheight(PH)intwoenvironments.TheconditionalphenotypicdataweretransferredbythelinearmodelmethodinsoftwareQGAStation1.0,andassociationmappingbasedontheunconditionalandconditionalphenotypevaluesofGDandPNwasanalyzedbyusinggenerallinearmodelinsoftwareTASSEL.Atotalof34simplesequencerepeat(SSR)markerlociassociatedwithGDandPNweredetectedinthetwoenvironments.Amongthem,15wereassociatedwithGD,and19wereassociatedwithPN.FoureliteallelesofRM8095-120bp,RM7102-176bp,RM72-170bpandRM72-178bpwereassociatedwithGD,andtheircarriervarietieswereHongmangshajing,Nipponbare,HongmangshajingandNannongjing62401,respectively.TheseeliteallelesfromthecarriervarietiescanshortenGDby2.039.93dwhentheywereintroducedintoimprovedmaterials.RM72-182bpassociatedwithPNwasaneliteallele,anditscarriervarietywasXiaoqingzhong.ItcanincreasePNbythreewhenintroducedintoimprovedmaterials.Moreover,theseeliteallelescanbeusedtoimprovetargettraitswithoutinfluencinganothertwotraits.
