  • 简介:Activatedcarbon(AC)wasfabricatedfromcorncob,whichischeapandabundant.Experimentalparameterssuchasparticlesizeofcorncob,KOH/charweightratio,andactivationtemperatureandtimewereoptimizedtogenerateAC,whichshowshighmethanesorptioncapacity.AChashighspecificsurfacearea(3227m2/g),withporevolumeandporesizedistributionequalto1.829cm3/gandca.1.7-2.2nm,respectively.Undertheconditionof2℃andlessthan7.8MPa,methanesorptioninthepresenceofwater(Rw=1.4)wasashighas43.7wt%methaneperunitmassofdryAC.Theresultissignificantlyhigherthanthoseofcoconut-derivedAC(32wt%)andorderedmesoporouscarbon(41.2wt%,Rw=4.07)underthesamecondition.ThephysicalpropertiesandamorphouschaoticstructureofACwerecharacterizedbyN2adsorptionisotherms,XRD,SEMandHRTEM.Hence,thecorncob-derivedACcanbeconsideredasacompetitivemethane-storagematerialforvehicles,whicharerunbynaturalgas.

  • 简介:Withtheincreasingnumberoflaserbeams,themaindifficultyinarrangingbeamguidingsystems(BGSs)involvesdeterminingthecorrespondingrelationshipsbetweentheoutputandinputportstorealizetheidentifiedlightpathlengthofallbeams.Giventhebasicconstraintsofgeometricarrangement,aBGSmodelisestablished,andabase-linealgorithmisproposedtoaddressthedifficultymentionedabove.Boundaryconditionsoftargetareaandtargetchamberarediscussedtoincreasethenumberoflaserbeams,andamaximumvalueexistsforaspecifictargetarea.Finally,thecompatibilityofacylindricalhohlraumtargetchamberwithasphericalhohlraumisanalyzed,andamoveablefinalopticsassemblyisproposedtoexecutetheswitchbetweenthetwodifferenttargets.

  • 简介:Inthispaper,wederivetheanalyticalsolutionsinathree-dimensionalanisotropicmagnetoelectroelasticbimaterialspacesubjecttouniformextendeddislocationsandtractionswithinahorizontalcirculararea.ByvirtueoftheStrohformalismandFouriertransformation,thefinalexpressionofsolutionsinthephysicaldomaincontainsonlylineintegralsover[0,2π]ratherthaninfiniteintegrals.Asthereducedcases,thehalf-spaceandhomogeneousfull-spacesolutionscanbedirectlyderivedfromthepresentsolutions.Also,intermsofmaterialdomains,thepresentsolutionscanbereducedtothepiezoelectric,piezomagnetic,purelyelasticmaterialswithdifferentsymmetriesofmaterialproperty.Tocarryoutnumericalcalculations,Gaussquadratureisadopted.Inthenumericalexamples,theeffectofdifferentloadinglocationsontheresponseattheinterfaceisanalyzed.Itisshownthat,whenthemagnetictractionorelectricdislocationisapplied,thephysicalquantitiesontheinterfacemaynotdecreasemonotonicallyastheloadingareamovesawayfromtheinterface.Thedistributionsofdifferentin-planephysicalquantitiesontheupperandlowerinterfacesundervariousextendedhorizontalloadingsarecomparedandthedifferencesarediscussed.Theworkpresentedinthispapercanserveasbenchmarksforfuturenumericalstudiesinrelatedresearchfields.

  • 简介:WenumericallyperformedwavedynamicalsimulationsbasedontheMaxwell–Bloch(MB)modelforaquadrupole-deformedmicrocavitylaserwithspatiallyselectivepumping.Wedemonstratetheappearanceofanasymmetriclasingmodewhosespatialpatternviolatesboththex-andy-axesmirrorsymmetriesofthecavity.Dynamicalsimulationsrevealedthatalasingmodeconsistingofaclockwiseorcounterclockwiserotating-wavecomponentisastablestationarysolutionoftheMBmodel.Fromtheresultsofapassive-cavitymodeanalysis,weinterprettheseasymmetricrotating-wavelasingmodesbythelockingoffournearlydegeneratepassive-cavitymodes.Forcomparison,wecarriedoutsimulationsforauniformpumpingcaseandfoundadifferentlockingruleforthenearlydegeneratemodes.Ourresultsdemonstrateanonlineardynamicalmechanismfortheformationofalasingmodethatadjustsitspatterntoapumpedarea.

  • 简介:FromthecasestudyofEveningBellRingingatNanpingHill,oneoftheWestLakeCulturalLandscapesinHangzhou,China,weinvestigatedthesoundscapeofascenicareawithaprofoundculturalbackground.First,weconductedthesoundscapephysicalindexoftheareainbothwinterandspringseasonstoanalyzeitsobjectivegraphicalexpression.Second,wefocusedonpeople’sreactionstothesoundscapeinordertoobtainasubjectiveevaluationofeachcomponentinthesoundscapeandintegratedenvironment.Then,therelationshipbetweentheobjectivedataandthesubjectiveevaluationwasanalyzed.Finally,theimpactsofthenaturalenvironment,history,andculturalfactorsontheevaluationoftheJingciTemplesoundscapewerestudied.Itwasfoundthatnaturalsounds,culturalsounds,andhistoricsoundswerewidelyacclaimedinpeople’ssubjectivefeelings,whichindicatedthecloserelationshipsamonghistoricalandculturalbackground,soundscape,andnaturalenvironment.Thus,theconclusionwasmadethatsoundscapeshouldbeconsistentwiththelocalnaturalenvironmentandthehistoricalandculturalbackground.

  • 简介:Conventionalorganicsolarcell’s(OSC)architectures,includingrigidtransparentsubstrate(Glass),conductiveelectrode(Indiumtinoxide,ITO)andsmallworkingareas,arewidelyutilizedinorganicphotovoltaicfields.However,suchastructureaswellasconventionalspin-coatingmethodobviouslyrestricttheirindustrialapplication.Inthisarticle,wereportthedepositionofsilvernanowires(AgNWs)ontheflexiblesubstratebyslot-dieprinting.TheobtainedAgNWsfilmsexhibitedahightransmittanceandalowresistance,andwerefurtherusedasthetransparentconductiveelectrodeofOSCs.Atypicalconjugatedpolymer,poly[(2,5-bis(2-hexyldecyloxy)phenylene)-alt-(5,6-difluoro-4,7-di(thiophen-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole)](PPDT2FBT),wasusedastheactivematerialtofabricatelarge-area(7cm~2)solarcellsbyaslot-diecoatingprocess.Thepowerconversionefficiency(PCE)couldreach1.87%initiallyandfurtherincreasedto3.04%bythermalannealing.ComparedtotheperformanceofreferencecellonITOsubstrate,theresultindicatedthattheAgNWscouldbedevelopedasanalternativesubstituteofconductiveelectrodetofabricatethelarge-areaflexibleOSCsbyroll-to-rollprinting.
