  • 简介:Thestudyofthetriplejunctionsofthegrainboundariesinsomefccsolidsolutions,orderedalloysandintermetallicswithL12hasbeencarriedoutusingtheopticalmetallographyandTEMmethods.Two-typesofthetriplejunctionswerefoundinthealloysinvestigated(1),consistingoftheboundariesoftherandom(RT),and(2),consistingoftheRTboundaryandthespecialboundaries(ST).TherelativevaluesoftheRTandSTboundaryenergyweredeterminedonthebasisofthemeasurementsoftheanglesbetweenthegrainboundaryplanes.IthasbeenshownthattheenergyofSTboundariesincreaseswiththeincreaseofthestackingfault(SF)energy.TheenergyoftheRTboundariesdoesnotdependontheSFenergy.

  • 简介:Theeffectsoflow-CoAB5typehydrogenstoragealloyspreparedbyquenchingandannealingontheperformancesofMH-Nibatterieswereinvestigated,andthecharacteristicsofthelow-CoAB5typehydrogenstoragealloyswerecomparedwiththoseofthehigh-CoAB5typehydrogenstoragealloyaswell.Theresultsshowedthatthefasterthecoolingofthelow-Cohydrogenstoragealloyis,thebetterhomogeneityofthechemicalcompositionforthealloyandthelongercyclelifeofthebatteryare,buttheelectrochemicaldischargecapacityandhigh-ratedischargeabilityarereduced.Thehigh-ratedischargeabilityandchargeretentionofMH-Nibatteriesfortheconventionalas-castannealedlow-Cohydrogenstoragealloyweresuperiortothosefortherapidlyquenchedlow-Cohydrogenstoragealloyandthehigh-Cohydrogenstoragealloy,butalittleinferiorinthecyclelife.

  • 简介:LaserweldingwithfillerwireofAZ31magnesiumalloysisinvestigatedusingaCO2laserexperimentalsystem.Theeffectofthreedifferentfillerwiresonthejointpropertiesisresearched.Theresultsshowthattheweldappearancecanbeeffectivelyimprovedwhenusinglaserweldingwithfillerwire.ThemicrohardnessandtensilestrengthofjointsarealmostthesameasthoseofthebasemetalwhenERAZ31orERAZ61wireisadopted.However,whenthefillerwireofER5356aluminumalloyisused,themechanicalpropertiesofjointsbecomeworse.ForERAZ31andERAZ61fillerwires,themicrostructureofweldzoneshowssmalldendritegrains.Incomparison,forER5356fillerwire,theweldshowsastructureofsnowydendritesandmanyintermetalliccompoundsandeutecticphasesdistributeinthedendrites.Theseintermetallicconstituentswithlowmeltingpointincreasethetendencyofhotcrackandresultinfragilejointproperties.Therefore,ERAZ31andERAZ61wirearemoresuitablefillermaterialthanER5356forCO2laserweldingofAZ31magnesiumalloys.
