摘要
Acoupledmaplatticeswithconvectivenonlinearityor,forshort,ConvectiveCoupledMap(CCM)isproposedinthispapertosimulatespatiotemporalchaosinfluidflows.ItisfoundthattheparameterregionofspatiotemporalchaoscanbedeterminedbythemaximalLiapunovexponentofitscomplexitytimeseries.Thissimplemodelimpliesasimilarphysicalmechanismforturbulencesuchthattheroutetospatiotemporalchaosinfluidflowscanbeenvisaged.
