摘要
TheaimofthisworkistopresentthesimulationstudiesinevaluatingdifferentdatareplicationstrategiesbetweenRegionalCenters.ThesimulationFrameworkdevelopedwithinthe"ModelsofNetworkedAnalysisatRgionalCenters”(MONARC)project,asadesignandoptimizationtoolforlargescaledistributedsystems,hasbeenusedforthesemodelingstudies.Remoteclient-sereraccesstodatabaseserversaswellasftp-likedatatransfershavebeenralisticallysimulatedandtheperformanceandlimitationsarepresentedasafunctionofthecharacteristicsoftheprotocolusedandthenetworkparameters.
