摘要
TosolvethenumericaldivergenceproblemofthedirecttimedomainGreenfunctionmethodforthemotionsimulationoffloatingbodieswithlargeflare,atimedomainhybridRankine-Greenboundaryelementmethodisproposed.Inthisnumericalmethod,thefluiddomainisdecomposedbyanimaginarycontrolsurface,atwhichthecontinuousconditionshouldbesatisfied.ThentheRankineGreenfunctionisadoptedintheinnerdomain.ThetransientfreesurfaceGreenfunctionisappliedintheouterdomain,whichisusedtofindtherelationshipbetweenthevelocitypotentialanditsnormalderivativefortheinnerdomain.Besides,thevelocitypotentialatthemeanfreesurfacebetweenbodysurfaceandcontrolsurfaceisdirectlysolvedbytheintegrationscheme.Thewaveexcitingforceiscomputedthroughtheconvolutionintegrationwithwaveelevation,byintroducingtheimpulseresponsefunction.Additionally,thenonlinearFroude-Krylovforceandhydrostaticforce,whichiscomputedundertheinstantaneousincidentwavefreesurface,aretakenintoaccountbythedirectpressureintegrationscheme.Thecorrespondingnumericalcomputercodeisdevelopedandfirstusedtocomputethehydrodynamiccoefficientsofthehemisphere,aswellasthetimehistoryofashipwithlargeflare;goodagreementisobtainedwiththeanalyticalsolutionsaswellastheavailablenumericalresults.ThenthehydrodynamicpropertiesofaFPSOarestudied.Thehydrodynamiccoefficientsagreewellwiththeresultscomputedbythefrequencymethod;theinfluenceofthetimeintervalandthetruncatedtimeisinvestigatedindetail.
