Focusingontheproblemofgoaleventdetectioninsoccervideos,anovelmethodbasedonHiddenMarkovModel(HMM)andthesemanticruleisproposed.Firstly,aHMMforagoaleventisconstructed.ThenaNormalizedSemanticWeightedSum(NSWS)ruleisestablishedbydefininganewfeatureofshots,semanticobservationweight.ThetestvideoisdetectedbasedontheHMMandtheNSWSrule,respectively.Finally,afusionschemebasedonlogicdistanceisproposedandthedetectionresultsoftheHMMandtheNSWSrulearefusedbyoptimalweightsinthedecisionlevel,obtainingthefinalresult.Experimentalresultsindicatethattheproposedmethodachieves96.43%precisionand100%recall,whichshowstheeffectivenessofthisletter.
