Anexperimentaladvancedsuperconductingtokamak(EAST)operationwindowwiththelowerhybridcurrentdrive(LHCD)inH-modeisestimatedbyusingacore-SOL-pertor(C-S-D)modelvalidatedbythepresentEASTpertorexperiments.Theoperationwindowconsistsoffourlimitsincludingtwousuallimits,oneofwhichisthemaximumallowableheatloadontothepertorplate,andtwoadditionallimitsassociatedwiththeLHCD.ThepredictiveEASToperationwindowisnotqualifiedtofulfillitsmissionforhighinputpower.Toextendtheoperationwindow,gaspuffingandimpurityseedingarepresentedastwoeffectivemethods.Inaddition,theeffectoftheLHCDcurrentontheoperationwindowisalsodiscussed.OurnumericalanalysisresultsprovideareferenceforthesafeoperationofEASTexperimentswithLHCDinfuture.
