Thispaperattemptstoinvestigatethebucklingandpost-bucklingbehaviorsofpiezoelectricnanoplatebasedonthenonlocalMindlinplatemodelandvonKarmangeometricnonlinearity.Anexternalelectricvoltageandauniformtemperatureriseareappliedonthepiezoelectricnanoplate.Boththeuniaxialandbiaxialmechanicalcompressionforceswillbeconsideredinthebucklingandpost-bucklinganalysis.Bysubstitutingtheenergyfunctionsintotheequationoftheminimumtotalpotentialenergyprinciple,thegoverningequationsarederiveddirectly,andthendiscretizedthroughthedifferentialquadrature(DQ)method.Thebucklingandpost-bucklingresponsesofpiezoelectricnanoplatesarecalculatedbyemployingadirectiterativemethodunderdifferentboundaryconditions.Thenumericalresultsarepresentedtoshowtheinfluencesofdifferentfactorsincludingthenonlocalparameter,electricvoltage,andtemperatureriseonthebucklingandpost-bucklingresponses.
