Inordertofurtherpromotethestandardizationofdiagnosisandtreatmentofgastrointestinalstromaltumor(GIST)inChina,themembersofChineseSocietyofClinicalOncology(CSCO)ExpertCommitteeonGISTthoroughlydiscussedthekeycontentsoftheconsensusguidelines,andvotedonthecontroversialissue.Infinal,theChineseconsensusguidelinesforthediagnosisandmanagementofGIST(2017edition)wasformedonthebasisof2013editionconsensusguidelines,whichisherebyannounced.Theconsensusincludedthepathologicaldiagnosis,recurrenceriskclassificationevaluation,targetedagenttherapy,surgeryandprinciplesofsurveillanceofGIST.
