Microbeswereculturedandidentifiedfromthesaplescollectedatvariousdepthsin4weatheringprofilesofREE-bearinggranitesinGonghe,Guangdong,Themicrobeswerefoundexistingatthedepthof0-5minalltheprofiles.Themainmicrobesincludecoccus(Staphylococcus,Streptococcus),bacillus(Bacillus,ClostridiumandEscherichiaColi),actinmycesandfungi(Saccharomycete,Penicillium,Fusarium,AspergillusAigerandMucor),Thenumberofcoloniesdecreasesdownwardsintheprofiles.ExperimentalstudiesshowthatallthemicrobesusedintheexperimentcanacceleratedownwardmigationofREEintheexperimentaltubes.,TheabilitytoacceleratethemigrationofREEdecreasesinasequenceoffungi→actinomyces→acillus→coccus.ThemicrobescanchangethemodesofoccurrenceofREEintheweatheringcrust.Thecoccus,bacillusandactinomycescanincreasetheamountsofREEinionstate,whereasthefungihaveastrongerabilitytofromorganiccompoundingREEandaccumulateREEthanthebacteriado.
