Inthisstudy,Nocolokeutecticflux,usedwidelyintheprocessofthebrazingofaluminumanditsalloy,waspreparedbythereactionbetweenAl(OH)3/KOHresolutionandHF.AseriesofKF-AlF3eutecticproductionsatvariousreactiontemperatureswereprepared.Themeltingpointsoftheproductsweremeasuredbydifferentialthermalanalysis(DTA),andthecompositeswerecharacterizedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD).TheresultssuggestthatthetemperaturecontrolisimportanttoproduceanidealfluxconsistingofK2AlF5,H2OandKAlF4,withalowmeltingpointof560℃,whichissuitableforthebrazingofaluminumanditsalloyasthealuminumfluxes.
