教材分析

本单元学习的主题是家庭成员及职业的介绍。主情境图通过展示一场家庭舞会呈现本单元要学习的核心词汇和句型。Read and write分为读写两部分:第一部分要求学生阅读描述John的家人小文段,读后根据描述的家庭成员的职业,能够对人物的职业做出正确的判断,并能够说出家庭成员的职业;第二部分是有意义的单词抄写活动,分为两个步骤:第一步为看图读句子、仿说句子,最后完成句子。四线格中的句子均为对话及阅读部分强化学习过的核心句型。第二步是个性化的书写活动,要求学生根据自己的家庭情况完成对家人及职业的介绍。

教学目标

知识能力:

  1. 能够在情境中听懂、理解、认读单词basketball player.

  2. 能够在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂短文并根据文本内容做出准确的回答与判断。

  1. 能够根据自己的实际情况,采用pair work的形式运用所学的语言This is....She is/He is...介绍自己的家人及职业。

  2. 能够仿照示范例句,在教师的指导下准确地书写职业的词句,能在教师的指导下口头介绍自己家人及职业。

过程与方法

1.学生通过听录音初步感知文本,然后通过看图片读一读、圈一圈找关键词等方法理解文本,完成任务,培养读图能力及阅理解能力。

2. 学生通过朗读技巧的指导,模仿正确的语音、语调,养成良好的朗读习惯。

3.学会运用听读、细读、自主读、品读等阅读技巧;

4.学生通过小组合作的方式,提高合作学习能力和自主学习能力。

5.通过介绍家庭照环节,培养学生在一定语境中运用英语的能力。

教学重、难点

正确的语音语调朗读文段,综合运用本单元的核心句型。

教学环节

Step 1:Pre-reading :

1. Sing an English song and make a new song. Review the words about job.

设计意图】在教学准备阶段,让学生演唱、编唱英文歌曲,复习学过的职业单词及句型,营造宽松的学习氛围,为后面语言的输出做好初步的准备。

Step 2: While-reading

1.Listen and answer the question:“How many people are there in John’s family?Who are they?”

设计意图】引导学生带着问题听力整体感知文本并获取文本大意。

2. Look at John’s family photo. Find “Which one is John’s mother? Which one is John’s father?” Read the text and answer the questions.

设计意图】引导学生根据问题驱动跳读,捕捉细节信息找到相对应的家庭成员。

3. Let students to ask some questions about the family members .

T: Do you have any questions about John’s family?

First,The teacher make a modle to give the question.For example: What’s John’s mother’s job?.Then students give some questions about the family members. Then teacher show all the questions on the screen.

【设计意图】引导学生根据初步的听力,感知材料提出与文本内容相关的问题,培养学生的主动思维习惯。

4. According to the questions on the screen and let students read the text quickly and circle the words about their jobs. Then check the answers and lead in the key sentences and the new words:basketball player.

设计意图】梳理学生提出的问题并引导学生根据问题细读文本并圈出与问题相关的职业词汇,运用图片搭建适量的支架让学生结合情境理解并运用新词汇:basketballplayer,抓住重点句进行品读,让学生在完成问题的过程中达到理解文本的目的。

Step 3: Post-reading

1.Listen and imitate. Fingers point.

设计意图】通过模仿朗读加深对语言的理解,为学生表达能力的形成打好基础。

2.Introduce John’s family.

The students can introduce the family according to the blackboard design. First, practice in pairs, then let some students say it in front of the class.

设计意图】运用板书提供适当的语言支架,让学生以pair work的形式复述文本,初步进行语言的输出练习。

  1. Read and tick or cross.

Teacher shows the pictures and questions ,let the students check the answer.

设计意图】 让学生自由再读文本并根据文本内容完成判断检测学生对文本的理解程度。

  1. Look and write .

Teacher shows the pictures and sentences, first say the sentences, then write them down and check. Pay attention to the tips.

设计意图】引导学生根据范例仿写单词把句子补充完整句子,检测学生的书写能力。

  1. Introduce your family.

First, teacher shows the photo about her own family and introduce.

Then , shows some photos about the classmates, choose some lucky families and let the students introduce.

6.Enjoy a beautiful song and a poem about family.

Step 4:Summary

Students sum up the key points they learned today.

Step 5:Homework

Share your family photo and write the jobs.
