Therelationshipbetweentheemissionofpollutantandeconomicgrowthhasattractedalotofattentionintheenvironmentaldebateoftherecentdecades.BasedonsometheoreticalandempiricalresearchonenvironmentalKuznetscurve(EKC),thispaperintroducestheenvironmentaltechnicalinnovationandenvironmentalinvestmentintoSolowgrowthmodeltodiscusstherelationshipbetweenGDPpercapitalandtheemissionofpollutant.Bythedynamicsimulationandparametersanalysis,theresultsofthemodelindicate:(1)when'green'technicalprogressandenvironmentalinvestmentarefixed,therelationshipbetweenGDPpercapitalandtheemissionshowsthelinearrelationship;(2)'green'technicalprogresscanleadtothepositivegrowthrateswithadecreasinglevelofemis-sion,whichiscompatiblewithanEKC;(3)theproportionoftheenvironmentalinvestmentcanleadthedifferentgrowthratesandlevelofemission.Theseresultscanexplainthatdevelopingcountriesare'toopoortobegreen'.
