Aspatialdistributionofdiffusereflectanceproducedbyobliquelyincidentlightisnotcenteredaboutthepointoflightentry.Thevalueofshiftinthecenterofdiffusereflectanceisdirectlyrelatedtotheabsorptioncoefficientμ_aandtheeffectiveattenuationcoefficientμ_(eff).μ_aandthereducedscatteringcoefficientμ'_sofhumanskintissuesinvivoaremeasuredbyoblique-incidencereflectometrybasedonthetwo-sourcediffusetheorymodel.FortenChinesevolunteersaged15-63years,μ_aandμ'_sarenoninvasivelydeterminedtobe0.029-0.075and0.52-0.97mm~(-1),respectively.
