BuiltspecificallyfortheSemanticWeb,triplestoresarerequiredtoaccommodatealargenumberofRDFtriplesandremainprimarilycentralized.Astriplestoresgrowandevolvewithtime,thereisademandingneedforscalabletechniquestoremoveresourceandperformancebottlenecksinsuchsystems.Tothisend,weproposeafullydecentralizedpeer-to-peerarchitectureforlargescaletriplestoresinwhichtriplesaremaintainedbyinpidualstakeholders,andasemantics-directedsearchprotocol,mediatedbytopologyreorganization,forlocatingtriplesofinterest.Wetestourdesignthroughsimulationsandtheresultsshowanticipatedimprovementsoverexistingtechniquesfordistributedtriplestores.Inadditiontoengineeringfuturelargescaletriplestores,ourworkwillinparticularbenefitthefederationofstand-alonetriplestoresoftodaytoachievedesiredscalability.
