Inthispaperthepropagationandbreakingofthesolitarywave,thesinusoidalwaveandthesecondStokeswaveonaslopeof1/30arediscussedbasedupontheTUMMACmethod,andthevelocityfieldsofbreakingwavesontheslopeareobtainedbyusingthetracingmethod.The.numericalresultsforwavedeformationareingoodagreementwithexperimentaldata,andthebreakerindexesdependingonthekineticcriterionagreeapproximatelywithprevi-ousresults.Furthermore,comparedwiththeexperimentalresultsmeasuredbyIwagakiandbytheauthors,thetendencyofvelocitydistributionofbreakingwavescomputedbythisnumericalmethodisalsosatisfactory.
