自改编绘本 《 Ping Ping and Pang Pang go fishing 》教学设计

一、学内容分析

本课教学内容为PEP四上Unit 3 My friends 内容。核心句子为He has glasses and his shoes are blue.作为延伸阅读内容,我改编了宫西达也的绘本故事《乒乒乓乓钓大鱼》,课堂上鼓励学生用英语表达。

二、学情分析

我校学生一年级开始学英语,目前到四年级英语已有较好的听说读写能力,但本节课中主格和形容词性物主代词的使用,在句型及问答方式还有所欠缺。所以,在课堂上,需着重注意学生的语言规范性和语言运用能力。

1.区分主格和形容词性物主代词。

四、教学过程设计

Step 1 Review and lead in (5 min)


  1. Greetings and revision.

T: I have a friend in our class.She is short and thin.She has big eyes and long hair.She is quiet.Who is she?

师描述某位学生,其他学生猜一猜是谁。

T:Can you describe your friend?

T:Well done. Let’s enjoy the model show in class. And try to describe the models in English.PPT中展示由贾玲、姚明、申公豹、白娘子、代课老师带来的模特秀。

(设计意图:利用介绍朋友和模特秀这两个活动复习本单元所学的重难点句型:This is....He/She is...He/She has...His/Her...is/are...。为后面的绘本阅读打好语句基础。)

T: Good job.Now work in your group and finish the table in 10 seconds.

小组讨论完成代词表格整理。

Step 2 Reading (33 min)


  1. Pre-reading

T:How smart you are! Now I want to introduce two new friends.课件中展示绘本封面——两只企鹅。Their names are Ping Ping and Pang Pang. Guess! Who is Ping Ping and who is Pang Pang? What are they going to do?学生根据封面大胆猜测,自由表达。

T:Good guess.Before you watch the video,I have 3 questions. PPT中出示三个问题:1.How many fish do they see? 2.What are those ‘ fish’? 3.Can you describe those ‘fish’? 学生们带着三个问题观看故事视频并初步尝试回答问题。回答不全面的可以保留到读后解决。

(设计意图:通过绘本封面介绍故事主人公,引导学生用所学句型描述两只企鹅。通过对故事标题的解读给出任务,让学生带着问题和好奇心去感受故事。)


  1. Reading:

学生独立阅读,尝试找出刚才观看视频时疑惑的答案。

T:Now let’s read the story together and try to describe those fish.OK?

PPT展示绘本内容。

Page 1: Ping Ping and Pang Pang are good friends.Ping Ping has a yellow hat.He is a boy.His tie is red and white.Pang Pang has a red hat.She is a girl.Her bag is pink.

PPT中以挖空的形式引导学生看图使用主格或形容词性物主代词。

Page 2-3: They jump rope together.They have lunch together.They go fishing together.

T: What do they do together? What do you do with your friends together?

引导学生用不同的动词用完整句表达出和朋友们的活动,为潜能生的参与课堂提供机会。

Page 4-5:There’s a big fish on the hook.But it runs away.

Ping Ping:Oh! My big fish. She is red.She has many arms.

Pang Pang: No! She’s just a small fish.

Ping Ping: No! Her body is big.

PPT中代词部分设置挖空。学生对子讨论,完成填空。

T:Good job.And what is this big fish?

Ss:It’s an octopus.

出示章鱼图卡贴在黑板上Ping Ping的鱼竿下。之后,学生带感情表演出这两页对话。绘本语言重复性高,利用相同的的方法完成故事,充分练习代词的使用。

Page 10-13:

Ping Ping钓到大鱼时遇到了麻烦,Pang Pang及时来解救。

Ping Ping and Pang Pang got a huge blue whale.They are good friends forever.

教师将鲸鱼图卡贴在黑板上Ping Ping的鱼竿上。利用夸张的语气语调,让学生感受到好朋友虽然有争吵,但当对方需要帮助时,好朋友会立刻伸出援手的感情。

T:You may have different opinions with your friends.You may argue with your friends.You may fight with your friends.But when your friends need your help, will you help them?

T: A friend in need is a friend in deed.PPT中出示这一句话,让学生们体会其含义。

PPT出示阅读前的三个问题,学生利用板书回答。

(设计意图:用夸张的语音语调朗读引导出绘本真谛——患难见真情。这也是本单元主题My friends的德育内容。最后再回到阅读前的三个问题,通过回答问题又再一遍回忆故事,有利于复述故事。)

教师引导学生利用板书复述出整个故事。
