  • 简介:Wepresentthesolidmodeleditdistance(SMED),apowerfulandflexibleparadigmforexploitingshapesimilaritiesamongstCADmodels.ItisdesignedtomeasurethemagnitudeofdistortionsbetweentwoCADmodelsinboundaryrepresentation(B-rep).Wegivetheformaldefinitionbyanalogywithgrapheditdistance,oneofthemostpopulargraphmatchingmethods.Toavoidtheexpensivecomputationalcostpotentiallycausedbyexactcomputation,anapproximateprocedurebasedonthealignmentoflocalstructuresetsisprovidedinaddition.Inordertoverifytheflexibility,wemakeintensiveinvestigationsonthreetypicalapplicationsinmanufacturingindustry,anddescribehowourmethodcanbeadaptedtomeetthevariousrequirements.Furthermore,amultilevelmethodisproposedtomakefurtherimprovementsofthepresentedalgorithmonbotheffectivenessandefficiency,inwhichthemodelsarehierarchicallysegmentedintotheconfigurationsoffeatures.ExperimentresultsshowthatSMEDservesasareasonablemeasurementofshapesimilarityforCADmodels,andtheproposedapproachprovidesremarkableperformanceonareal-worldCADmodeldatabase.

  • 简介:Inthiswork,thefactorsandparametersofatestmethodonabrasionresistanceatelevatedtemperatureswerediscussedandresearched.Firstofall,theprecisiontestsofthetestmethodonabrasionresistanceatelevatedtemperatureswereconductedin8laboratories.Theresultssuchasthestandarddeviationandreproducibilityshowgoodrepeatabilityandreliability.Therelationshipbetweenthestabilityofrefractoryperformanceandthestandarddeviationoftheirwearvaluewasanalyzed.ThentheimpactoftheheattreatmentconditionofunshapedrefractoriesandoxidationofSiCsandasabrasiveonthelostvolumeofthetestedspecimenswasresearched.

  • 简介:PyriculariaoryzaeanamorphofMagnaportheoryzaeisoneofthemostnotoriousfungalpathogenscausingsevereeconomiclossinriceproductionworldwide.Variousmethods,viz.cultural,biologicalandmolecularapproaches,areutilizedtocounteractthispathogen.Moreover,sometolerantorresistantricevarietieshavebeendevelopedwiththehelpofbreedingprogrammes.Isolationandmolecularcharacterizationofdifferentblastresistancegenesnowopenthegatefornewpossibilitiestoelucidatetheactualallelicvariantsofthesegenesviavariousmolecularbreedingandtransgenicapproaches.However,thebehavioralpatternofthisfungusbreakupstheresistancebarriersintheresistantortolerantricevarieties.Thishost-pathogenbarrierwillbepossiblycounteredinfutureresearchbycomparativegenomicsdatafromavailablegenomesequencedataofriceandM.oryzaefordurableresistance.Presentreviewemphasizedfascinatingrecentupdates,newmolecularbreedingapproaches,transgenicandgenomicsapproaches(i.e.miRNAandgenomeediting)forthemanagementofblastdiseaseinrice.Theupdatedinformationwillbehelpfulforthedurable,resistancebreedingprogrammeinriceagainstblastpathogen.

  • 简介:ResistanceanalysisisanimportantanalyticalmethodusedtoevaluatethehydrodynamicperformanceofHighSpeedCraft(HSC).AnalysisofmultihullresistanceinshallowwaterisessentialtotheperformanceevaluationofanytypeofHSC.Shipsoperatinginshallowwaterexperienceincreasesinresistancebecauseofchangesinpressuredistributionandwavepattern.Inthispaper,theshallowwaterperformanceofanHSCdesignconcept,thesemi-SmallWaterplaneAreaTwinHull(semi-SWATH)form,isstudied.Thehullisinstalledwithfinstabilizerstoreducedynamicmotioneffects,andtheresistancecomponentsofthehull,hulltrimcondition,andmaximumwaveamplitudearoundthehullaredeterminedviacalmwaterresistancetestsinshallowwater.Thesecriteriaareimportantinanalyzingsemi-SWATHresistanceinshallowwateranditsrelationtoflowaroundhull.Theforefinangleisfixedtozerodegrees,whiletheaftfinangleisvariedto0o,5o,10o,and15o.Foreachconfiguration,investigationsareconductedwithdepthFroudenumbers(FrH)rangingfrom0.65to1.2,andtheresistancetestsareperformedinshallowwateratthetowingtankofUTM.Analysisresultsindicatethattheresistance,wavepattern,andtrimofthesemi-SWATHhullformareaffectedbythefinangle.Theresistanceisamplifiedwhereasthetrimandsinkagearereducedasthefinangleincreases.IncreasesinfinanglecontributetoseakeepingandstabilitybutaffectthehullresistanceofHSCs.

  • 简介:Anewtypeofhybridweldingmethodcalledresistanceplugwelding(RPW)wasfirstlyadoptedtoachievetheconnectingofdissimilarsteel,mainlyasforthepoorweldingcharacteristicsofhighstrengthsteelproducedbyincreasingcarbon,manganese,silicon,etc.MicrostructuresandmechanicalpropertiesofRPWjointwereanalyzedbyopticalmicroscope,micro-hardnesstestandsheartensilemeasurement.ExperimentalresultsindicatethattheRPWjointhasaroundedrectanglenugget,andthesizeislargerthanellipticalnuggetofresistancespotwelding(RSW)joint;thehardnessvalueofRPWjointisevenlydistributed,accordinglythereisnohardbrittlephases;thesheartensilestrengthofRPWjointincreasesby20%incomparisonwithRSWjointunderthesameweldingconditions.

  • 简介:Inearthquakeproneareas,understandingoftheseismicpassiveearthresistanceisveryimportantforthedesignofdifferentgeotechnicalearthretainingstructures.Inthisstudy,thelimitequilibriummethodisusedforestimationofcriticalseismicpassiveearthresistanceforaninclinedwallsupportinghorizontalcohesionlessbackfill.Acompositefailuresurfaceisconsideredinthepresentanalysis.Seismicforcesarecomputedassumingthebackfillsoilasaviscoelasticmaterialoverlyingarigidstratumandtherigidstratumissubjectedtoaharmonicshaking.Thepresentmethodsatisfiestheboundaryconditions.Theamplificationofaccelerationdependsonthepropertiesofthebackfillsoilandonthecharacteristicsoftheinputmotion.Theaccelerationdistributionalongthedepthofthebackfillisfoundtobenonlinearinnature.Thepresentstudyshowsthatthehorizontalandverticalaccelerationdistributioninthebackfillsoilisnotalwaysin-phaseforthecriticalvalueoftheseismicpassiveearthpressurecoefficient.Theeffectofdifferentparametersontheseismicpassiveearthpressureisstudiedindetail.Acomparisonofthepresentmethodwithothertheoriesisalsopresented,whichshowsthemeritsofthepresentstudy.

  • 简介:Thispaperstudiesconsensusofaclassofheterogeneousmulti-agentsystemscomposedoffirst-orderandsecond-orderagentswithintermittentcommunication.Forleaderlessmulti-agentsystems,weproposeadistributedconsensusalgorithmbasedontheintermittentinformationofneighboringagents.Somesufficientconditionsareobtainedtoguaranteetheconsensusofheterogeneousmulti-agentsystemsintermsofbilinearmatrixinequalities(BMIs).Meanwhile,therelationshipbetweencommunicationdurationandeachcontrolperiodissoughtout.Moreover,thedesignedalgorithmisextendedtoleader-followingmulti-agentsystemswithoutvelocitymeasurements.Finally,theeffectivenessofthemainresultsisillustratedbynumericalsimulations.

  • 简介:Thedispersioncharacteristicsandexcitationmechanismsoftheguidedwavesinmultilayeredplatesarestudiedinthispaper.Firstly,thedispersionequationisobtainedbythepropagatormatrixmethod.Then,thebisectiontechniqueisemployedtofindalltherootsofthedispersionequation.Thedispersioncharacteristicsoftheguidedwavesareinvestigatedandanalyzed.ForthemultilayeredplatesinwhichtheS-wavevelocityincreasesordecreasesfromtoptobottom,itisfoundthatthevelocitylimitsinhighfrequencyofthefirstandhighmodesareequaltotheRayleighwaveandS-wavevelocitiesofthelow-velocitylayer,respectively.ItisalsofoundthatthevelocitylimitsinthehighfrequencyofallmodesareequaltotheS-wavevelocityofthelow-velocitylayerfortheplatewithalow-velocitymiddlelayer.Thenormaldisplacementspectrumofallthemodesexcitedbythenormalforcesourcewithadefinitewidthonthesurfaceoftheplateisalsoinvestigated.ItisprovedthatthedominantmodeisthefirstmodewhentheS-wavevelocityincreasesfromtoptobottomlayerandthedominantmodeisdifferentindifferentfrequencyrangefortheplatewithalow-velocitymiddlelayer.

  • 简介:Brownplanthopper(BPH)isaninsectspeciesthatfeedsonthevascularsystemofriceplants.ToexaminethedefencemechanismofriceplantsagainstBPH,thepathogenesis-relatedgenes(PR1a,PR2,PR3,PR4,PR6,PR9,PR10a,PR13,PR15andPRpha),signalingmoleculesynthesisgenes(AOS,AXR,ACOandLOX),antioxidant-relatedgenes(CAT,TRX,GSTandSOD)andligninbiosynthesis-relatedgenes(CHS,CHIandC4H)wereinvestigatedinaresistantricevariety.AOS,PR6,PR9andPR15genesshowedsignificantlyincreasedrelativeexpressionlevelsat24.38-,19.17-,14.71-,and12.74-foldcomparedtothecontrol.Moderateincreasedrelativeexpressionlevelsofligninbiosynthesis-relatedgene(C4H),pathogenesis-relatedgenes(PR4,PR10aandPRpha),andantioxidant-relatedgene(GST)werefound,whileCHI,LOX,SOD,TRX1andAXRshoweddecreasedrelativeexpressionlevels.Itwasthusclearlyshownthatwound-inducedresponsegeneswereactivatedinriceplantsafterBPHattacksthroughAOSactivation.JasmonicacidsignalingmoleculemayactivatePR6,PR15,GSTandCATsubsequentlyincreasingtheirexpressionforH2O2detoxification.PR6wereexpressedatthehighestrelativelevelamongthePRgenes.ThesegenesthereforehavealsoaconsiderablesynergisticrolewiththeothergenesagainstBPHbyinterferedtheirdigestiontractsystem.
