简介:AnumericalsimulationmodelbasedonanopensourceComputationalFluidDynamics(CFD)package-OpenFieldOperationandManipulation(OpenFOAM)hasbeendevelopedtostudyhighlynonlinearsteadyandunsteadyfreesurfaceflows.Atwo-fluidformulationisusedinthismodelandthefreesurfaceiscapturedusingtheclassicalVolumeOfFluid(VOF)method.TheincompressibleEuler/Navier-Stokesequationsaresolvedusingafinitevolumemethodonunstructuredpolyhedralcells.Bothsteadyandunsteadyfreesurfaceflowsaresimulated,whichinclude:(1)asubmergedNACA00122-Dhydrofoilmovingataconstantspeed,(2)theWigleyhullmovingataconstantspeed,(3)numericalwavetank,(4)greenwaterovertoppingafixed2-Ddeck,(5)greenwaterimpactonafixed3-Dbodywithoutorwithaverticalwallonthedeck.ThenumericalresultsobtainedhavebeencomparedwiththeexperimentalmeasurementsandotherCFDresults,andtheagreementsaresatisfactory.Thepresentnumericalmodelcanthusbeusedtosimulatehighlynonlinearsteadyandunsteadyfreesurfaceflows.

简介:Nanomeshgraphene(NMG)obtainedbytemplatechemicalvapordepositionwasusedtosynthesizethebinder-freegraphenemonolithsbysimpletabletpressing.ThestackingmanneroftheNMGsheetswascrucialtothecohesioninteractionbetweenthegraphenesheets,onlytheNMGmaterialswithalooselystackingmannercouldbepressedintobinder-freemonoliths.Atthetabletingpressureof2-8MPa,boththebulkdensitiesandthespecificsurfaceareasofthemonolithskeepnearlyconstantasthetabletingpressureincreases,indicatingthattheNMGmonolithshaveobviouselasticityandaporousstructureduetothelargecorrugationsandthemeshstructuresofthegraphenesheets.Asaresult,anextraordinarymethanestoragecapacityof236(v/v)at9MPawasobtainedinthegraphenemonolithpreparedbytabletingat4MPa.
简介:Objective:Laryngealreconstructionisneededtopreservelaryngealfunctioninpatientswhohaveundergoneextensiveverticalorfrontalpartiallaryngectomy.However,theprocedureremainsadifficultchallenge.Severalreconstructiontechniqueshavebeendescribed,butthesetechniquesposerisksofcomplicationssuchaslaryngealstenosis.Thisstudyaimedtoevaluatethepostoperativecourseandfunctionaloutcomesofanewtechniquethatcombinedamuscle-pediclehyoidboneandathyrohyoidflapduringlaryngealreconstructionaftertumorresection.Methods:Fourpatientsunderwentextensiveverticalpartialorfrontalpartiallaryngectomyforcancer.Aftertumorresection,laryngealreconstructionwasperformedusingtheproposedtechnique.Postoperativerecoverytime,complications,andoncologicresultswereevaluated.Results:Thefourpatientsweresuccessfullytreatedwiththeproposedtechnique.Nodyspnea,dysphagia,ordeathoccurredduringthepostoperativecourse.Decannulationwasperformedafteramedianof3days.Theaveragepostoperativehospitalstaywas7days.Short-termpostoperativefunctionalrecoverywasnormal.Nolaryngealstenosisortumorrecurrencewasobservedinanyofthefourpatientsafterafollow-upperiodofmorethan24months.Conclusion:Thecombinationofthemuscle-pediclehyoidboneandthethyrohyoidflapisareliableprocedureforlaryngealreconstructionafterextensiveverticalpartialorfrontalpartiallaryngectomy.
