简介:Energylevels,radiativerates,oscillatorstrengthsandlinestrengthsarereportedfortransitionsamongthelowest97levelsofthe(1s22s22p6)3s23p2,3s23p3d,3s3p3,3p4,3s3p23d,and3s23d2configurationsofRbXXIV.AmulticonfigurationDirac–Fock(MCDF)methodisadoptedforthecalculations.Radiativerates,oscillatorstrengths,andlinestrengthsareprovidedforallelectricdipole(E1),magneticdipole(M1),electricquadrupole(E2),andmagneticquadrupole(M2)transitionsfromthegroundleveltoall97levels,althoughcalculationsareperformedforamuchlargernumberoflevels.Toachievetheaccuracyofthedata,comparisonsareprovidedwithsimilardataobtainedfromtheFlexibleAtomicCode(FAC)andalsowiththeavailabletheoreticalandexperimentalresults.Ourenergylevelsarefoundtobeaccuratetobetterthan1.2%.WavelengthscalculatedarefoundtolieinEUV(extremeultraviolet)andx-rayregions.Additionally,lifetimesforall97levelsareobtainedforthefirsttime.
简介:TheNCEP/NCARreanalysisdatasetsandClimatePredictionCenter(CPC)MergedAnalysisofPrecipitation(CMAP)raindataareusedtoinvestigatethelargescaleseasonaltransitionofEastAsiansubtropicalmonsoon(EASM)anditspossiblemechanism.ThekeyregionofEASMisdefinedaccordingtotheseasonaltransitionfeatureofmeridionalwind.Bycombiningthe’thermalwind’formulaandthe’thermaladaptation’equation,anew’thermal-wind-precipitation’relationisdeduced.Theareameanwinddirectionsandthermaladvectionsindifferentseasonsareanalyzedanditisshownthatinsummer(winter)monsoonperiod,theaveragedwinddirectionintheEASMregionvariesclockwise(anticlockwise)withaltitude,andtheEASMregionisdominatedbywarm(cold)advection.TheseasonaltransitionofthewinddirectionatdifferentlevelsandthecorrespondingmeridionalcirculationconsistentlyindicatesthatthesubtropicalsummermonsoonisestablishedbetweentheendofMarchandthebeginningofApril.Finally,aconceptualschematicexplanationforthemechanismofseasonaltransitionofEASMisproposed.

简介:Inordertopredictthemechanicalperformanceofthepolyvinylchloride(PVC)atahighoperatingtemperature,aseriesofshort-termtensilecreeptests(onetenthofthephysicalagingtime)ofthePVCarecarriedoutat63Cwithasmallconstantstressbyadynamicmechanicalanalyzer(DMA).TheStruik-Kohlrausch(SK)formulaandStruikshiftingmethodsareusedtodescribethesecreepdataforvariousphysicalagingtime.AnewphenomenologicalmodelbasedonthemultiplerelaxationmechanismsofanamorphouspolymerisdevelopedtoquantitativelycharacterizetheSKparameters(theinitialcreepcompliance,thecharacteristicretardationtime,andtheshapefactor)determinedbytheagingtime.ItisshownthatthemomentarycreepcompliancecurveofthePVCat63CcanbeverywellfittedbytheSKformulaforeachagingtime.However,theSKparametersforthecreepcurvesarenotconstantduringtheagingprocessattheelevatedtemperatures,andtheevolutionoftheseparametersandthecreeprateversusagingtimecurvesatthedoublelogarithmiccoordinateshaveshownanonlinearphenomenon.Moreover,thecreepmastercurvesobtainedbythesuperpositionwiththeStruikshiftingmethodsareunsatisfactoryinsuchacase.Finally,thepredictedresultscalculatedfromthepresentmodelincorporatingwiththeSKformulaareinexcellentagreementwiththecreepexperimentaldataforthePVCisothermallyagedatthetemperaturerelativelyclosetotheglasstransitiontemperature.

简介:Toinvestigatetheenthalpyrelaxationbehaviorofmaltitolglasssystem,differentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC)wasusedtoobtainthespecificheatcapacity[Cp(T)]neartheglasstransitiontemperature(Tg)atdifferentcoolingratesrangedbetween1and20K/min.Threephenomenologicalmodelsofenthalpyrelaxation,ToolNarayanaswamy-Moynihan(TNM)model,Adam-Gibbs-Vogel(AGV)modelandGómezRibelles(GR)model,wereusedtosimulatetheexperimentaldata.Themodels'parameterswereobtainedviaacurve-fittingmethod.TheresultsindicatethatTNMandAGVmodelsgavethealmostidenticalpredictionpowersandcanreproducethecurvesofexperimentalCp(T)verywell.However,thepredictionpowerofGRmodelevolvedfromconfigurationalentropyapproachisnotsogoodasthoseofTNMandAGVmodels.Inparticular,themetastablelimitstateparameter(δ)introducedbyGómezRibelleshasinsignificanteffectontheenthalpyrelaxationofthesmallmolecularhydrogen-bondingglasssystem.
